Wimbledon 2009

I thought an event of this size should be on its own thread.

The Championships start at noon on BBC Two.

This year we see Centre Court's roof in action for the second time.

The absence of the defending champion is disappointing but health comes first and I hope Rafa recovers soon.

Let's hope not. Total greaseball nob. I hope he tests positive for roids the spanish mong.

Murrary won't win obviously so i'd like Federer to do it because he such an absolute legend.

He's not that bad, Nadal. He's quite a humble guy.

Well with Nadal out, may as well call off the tournament and hand Federer the trophy now.

I want Murray to win, but he won't. He stands more chance than 'Tiger' Tim did, the big useless twat. It's basically nailed on as Federer's.

Watched Laura Robson's match earlier. She put in a pretty good effort, and really had Hantuchova on the back foot for a set and a half. Shame when she broke in the second set she couldn't go on and finish the game, but she did better than most would expect. She'll probably go boss the Girls Singles now so I doubt she's too bothered. Definitely a future champion in the making.

Come on Djokovic.

Murray will bottle it just like every other Brit tennis player.

Dulko's a slag. The only reason anyone watches Wimbledon is to see Sharapova and her horny sex noises but thanks to her we won't see any more. Any point in Wimbledon now? I think not.

There has to be other beauties in Wimbledon? Isn't there another blondey who is just as hot, if not hotter then Shara?

With Sharapova out that just leaves Ivanovic as the one to watch, and she's played like crap ever since she became number one last year.

As an actual tennis point though, Dulko played awesomely to beat Sharapova and deserves her place in the next round.

Ivanovic>>>Maria.

Cmon Andy Roddick, we need some American firepower to light up Wimbledon this year. Federer can go jump of a cliff or something.
