| 2nd XI Cricketer Member Since: Jul 2005 Location: UK National Team: England Domestic Team: Essex | I think there is room for optimism here, I'm hoping that with a different producer a lot of the old bugs will have gone (I'll be looking for that ODI over quota bug ) that's not to say there won't be any bugs at all but at least it's a step in the right direction. I believe there is a line up editor too, that will be a big plus. I thought the gfx were excellent and was satisfied with Cricket 2005 with the third party add ons which basically saved it for me. I'll be interested in the new presentation and extras but as long as there is the editing options they say and the ODI bug gone, I'll be happy. One other point is, as long as there is HB Studio's there will be Cricket, I actually did the teams and beta tested for Jeremy Wellard for Brian Lara Cricket way back in 1998 and Audiogenic previous to that and Jeremy is a keen Cricket fan so he will be eager to push the Cricket series further and onto the newer formats when they arrive. Real shame that I don't get the chance anymore to beta test for him nowadays, I would've picked up on a lot of those annoying bugs as I'm thorough in that field I think BLIC is too limited and having only licenced players in certain areas is poor, I mean people want to play real games with real players not fiddle around editing from the off, that should be for later. That's not to say it's not a nice game to look at or play but I felt that BLIC was seriously missing something and it doesn't look as if it's going to be much further ahead when BLIC 2007 is released next year so we can't really "rubbish" Cricket 2007 and compare it to Cricket 2005, I like C2005 now with it's third party add on's there's so much more you can do especially if you hate bowling .Lets hope that C2005's add on's are compatible this time round and enjoy a great winter of Cricket Roll on release!!! He backs away from the questions quite a lot, something I don't think that he did too much in BLIC equivalents. | ||

i dont blame him. He works for Ea, and thus he can do only according to the budget Ea has set for Cricket games. Ea sucks when it come to cricket games, but i still give credit to the developement team for their effort towards the game. ![]() | ||

| U19 Cricketer AKA: avi Member Since: Nov 2004 Location: Toronto National Team: South Africa | only difference in enjoyment i feel between BLC and cricket 2005 is OUR graphics card. blc works great even in 32mb video card but if u play cricket 2005 in 32 mb video card u feel as if there are plenty of bugs in it. i actually tried cricket 2005 in both ways. when i played c2k5 in 32mb video card it really anoyed me very much. on the other side when i played in 128 mb video card it was really cool and i enjoyed batting so much there. honestly in these two video cards i didn't find any difference for BLC. i feel thats why some people hate c2k5 very much unlike blc which is very smooth even in 32 mb video card.i hope c2k7 comes out well ![]() | ||

| 2nd XI Cricketer Member Since: May 2004 | Will there be real swing and spin in the game? Also we would like to be able to watch the CPU VS CPU matches feature back? Swing and Spin have improved greatly along with all of our bowling deliveries. With the right bowlers under the right conditions, the ball will swing and spin much more visibly than before. This is certainly a big improvement in the bowling. They only answered the 1st part of that question. Anyone know the answer to the cpu v cpu feature? | ||

| Panel of Selectors Member Since: Sep 2003 Location: New Delhi , INDIA National Team: India | Well i think he answered most of the questions quite honestly,(unlike the previous guy who said all the +ve things he could say abt C2005) he quite honestly told us thing which wont be in the game and he stressed upon the gameplay improvement priority thing which kindda makes me feel tht the batting & bowling are gonna be good. One thing which i didnt like(as an A.I. patch maker) tht he didnt clearly answered the question related to using the same old a.i. tech. Other than tht, his answers for most of the Qs were good. | ||

| 1st XI Cricketer AKA: Octa Member Since: Apr 2004 Location: Hamilton, New Zealan National Team: Blackcaps Domestic Team: Northern Districts | i read the Q&A and was quite impressed with how up front the guy seemed to be. It appears they have really tried to capture the reality of the sport as much as possible. It seems to me they had tight cost factors to deal with along with time limitations, when you read between the lines. I am now really looking forward to playing this game, i can put up with wonky bowling actions if the actual batting experience is great, which requires reasonable opportunity for 1s and 3s along with bat control and realism in strokes. It sounds like they have really worked hard on the actual gameply itslef which is where its at for me. shame they got Mark Nicholas though, the guys a total brown nosing wet fish whose commentary drives me mad. The game is definitely aimed at the ashes hype, and seems central for australia and england. That seems strange to me because i would have thought there would be huge markets in Pakistan and India? | ||
