Hawks lead the way

The Hawks are leading the competition this year after 7 rounds. They are on top of the ladder being undefeated throughout the start of the season. The Hawks lead by Lance Franklin, who is leading the competition in goals at this stage, are moving onto a premiership. Geelong who are their main threats are sitting 4th win 5 wins and 2 losses.
The Sumner coached Crows are sitting 10th at the moment with 3 wins and 4 losses for the season. They will be looking to captalize on that result, like they did last year, and try and win some games coming towards the end of the season.

Porplyzia leads the way for the Crows

As mentioned. Jason Porplyzia is the man to beat for the Crows. Every team is trying to match up on this man, but no one can get the job done. The midfielder, is sitting 4th in the competition for goals, with 24 only 6 behind leading goal kicker Lance Franklin. Porplyzia who has been playing more midfield this year compared to last, says he is playing his best season to date.
"Getting more game time in the midfield is freeing me up heaps. I love playing up forward, but to get more reconised in this competition, you need to be a midfielder, and that's what i tend to do.
