| 1st XI Cricketer Member Since: Dec 2008 Location: Joburg, South Africa National Team: South Africa Domestic Team: Highveld Lions | I have a good feeling that we are going to finally break this semi final Jynx. We have being superb throughout the tournament and We have being a better side than Pakistan, with Pakistan only really beating one side of real quality and that was New Zealand other than that it was the two associate teams who they were victorious over. With the bat,we are the better team with Ab, Kallis and Smith all in the runs and we bat all the way down to number 10, to Parnell. Pakistan have the edge on spin bowling with Afridi and Ajmal being menacing but We have the edge in the quickies with two of the highest quality fast bowlers opening. Gul didn't have a great time in the warm up game though nether did any Pakistani player really. South Africa to take it with Parnell or Steyn getting a good few wicket early on in the Powerplay. | ||

Hate the fact that the South African spinners have been bowling so economically--someone needs to put them in their place and it looks like Afridi is gaining the touch to do that.... but he's probably going to be out soon. ![]() | ||

| ICC President AKA: Sai Member Since: Apr 2003 Location: USA National Team: INDIA Domestic Team: Chennai SuperKings, Tamil Nadu | Afridi is almost doing his magic here. Umar Gul is yet to come. Afridi has got two of the prized wickets, Gibbs and De Villiers. I think Pakistan are now well into this game and have a serious chance of causing an upset to South Africa. | ||
