National Team: Scotland Domestic Team: Yorks | @ FB: thanx, yeah I think your entry is better than mine - nice and simple; very effective. @ KX: That was the bank the guy was jumping off and some snow he'd trailed behind him. I tried to get a good text effect on it but I couldn't really cut the snow spray very well. Looks a bit wierd.

The bg is really nice and the text is good as well. It could do with a dew more effects on the render as well as some lighting and some finishing touches just to make it a bit more interesting. Well done mate, this sig gives you a basis to get a lot better from here...reps for you

National Team: Scotland Domestic Team: Yorks | Thanx for the comment, rabz I put a lighting effect on the render but not on the BG because I found that the sig lost a lot of its balance if you know what I mean. I'd be interested to know what kind of finishing touches you mean bcos I've noticed that the sigs I make lack a little something when compared to the likes of your's or bilal's. One thing I have trouble doing is borders (like lines or erasing bits or tech or anything) could you (or anyone ) give me some pointers about that???

| News Team Member AKA: rabz Member Since: Nov 2006 National Team: England Domestic Team: Somerset & Newcastle | One useful way of adding more to your sigs is using the pen tool and then right-clicking after you have drawn your line and adding stroke. If you use the brush for example it will follow the line you have made with the brush setting you have at that time. With the borders, a normal one would be new layer, CTRL+A, and then Edit>>Stroke and 2px center with the colour you want. Any inner 1px lines you want just use the pen tool and stroke the line. C4Ds and light textures can also add some extra depth to your sigs. Finally, if you make a new layer, and Image>>Apply image and add effects to the image, then set the blending mode on something else, this can give your sigs something else. Hope this helps a little bit, keep going mate, you are doing well. | ||
