Texture Used in the Tutorial

nice render effects. bad text, bg is too bland. it needs more too it. find fonts from www.dafont.com and look for textures around the sites. www.deviantart.com is a great site. follow some tuts and keep going mate.

Nice work mate... that looks like a nice work in progress. Just follow tuts and add more textures and you will improve in no time

Not a bad avvy just look for avvy tuts on pixel2life and stuff like that.. nice though. just remember to add borders to your work. it really polishes it.

Nice avvy, the background and text look good. You know how to make effects which is a huge step forward allready. I dont think you should add more textures just yet, I would keep it simple and learn some colouring too.

Layer> New layer> Fill layer> select a colour then maybe put it on screen or lighten at about 18%. Do this a fair few times to get some colouring etc. Add more textures when you feel you are ready. But this is just imo
