| ICC Board Member AKA: Adil Gashid Member Since: Mar 2004 Location: Norwich National Team: England Domestic Team: Somerset | If this is cricket 09, it better be released on the pc, sure it will be the same. But for a few months it will be great to have a new cricket game. ![]() | ||

| Staff Member AKA: The Joker Member Since: Jul 2007 Location: Earth, of course National Team: India Domestic Team: Bengal, KKR, The Lightning Lions | I have high doubts here. EA games usually come to the market some months before the start of the year mentioned in the games title. I mean, look c07 came in Sept 06, FIFA 08 came in Oct 07- like this. That's their way of releasing games and I don't think they will break this for just a mere cricket game. This is an unique speciality of EA. The next cricket game will most probably be called Cricket XI or c11 or something like that, and most probably will be released in Sept/Oct 2010 | ||

| ICC President Member Since: Jun 2004 Domestic Team: Kent CCC | Not me. Bought C2004 Didn't Buy C2005 (Still have never played it) Only got C07 because Colin didn't want his free copy Not buying C9 Unless it is a totally new game that uses nothing from the previous versions. Even then I shall wait to see what people here think of it. I really don't understand why you guys buy these games expecting them to be different to the last one, especially when people who have bought them post as such. All you get are slightly different graphics and a database update. Which of course you replace with kits and lineups made here anyhow. Might as well just download some update patches for C07. If they use C07 as a base it will have the same problems as all the previous versions because you cannot fix what is fundamentally flawed. Or do you just need to follow the crowd like a bunch of penguins? Last edited by Kev; 13th February 2009 at 03:41 PM.. | ||
