| ICC Chairman AKA: Dean Member Since: Jul 2005 Location: Melbourne, Australia National Team: Australia Domestic Team: Victoria | EA Sports will not release a cricket game on Wii only, I'd be willing to bet on it. If they're going to be lazy about it, it will be PC only or PS3/360 only. Am I thinking this will be good? Probably not, but the fact that it might be EA Canada probably means that it will be next gen, meaning that it has to be different from the previous version in some way. | ||

| PCPL Season 2: Best Batsman (Division 2) Member Since: Oct 2006 Location: Australia, Sydney National Team: Australia Domestic Team: NSW Blues and Liverpool. | I probably wont get this unless I hear it is better then Cricket 05 with patches. Cricket 05 is the best of the series I reckon, and with Tutsis patch and Tom making rosters its perfect. | ||

| U19 Cricketer AKA: Tom Jones Member Since: Jan 2009 Location: Essex, UK National Team: England (& Wales) Domestic Team: Essex | HB studios who were involved in the making of Cricket 07 and more recently NHL 09 currently have 6 projects in development, maybe one of them could be Cricket 09? they won't say what they are though TLCJones added 9 Minutes and 9 Seconds later... Exciting update from Peter Moore! EA have got some sort of sport equipment stuff that is gunna make sports games better and possibly cause the release of more sports games! Just "We haven’t announced the game yet so at this stage we can’t comment but we will be in touch if this changes." and then "At this stage there is nothing to report but we are looking into the possibility of Cricket making a return." | ||

| ICC Chairman PC Awards 2009: Best Cricket Chat Poster, Best Your Cricket Diary Member Since: Nov 2006 Location: Suffolk National Team: England Domestic Team: Essex, Hampshire, Everton | If they are working on one hopefully they'll take abit longer working on this one, as judging by 2007 2 years is nowhere near long enough. The single player AI is beyond awful, and ridiculously easy. It's slightly better online, me and Si had some very fun games, but the single player was ridiculously awful. So hopefully they won't provide us with the typical buggy, roster updated BLIC 09 and give us something worth playing. I'm not holding my breath though tbh. It's annoying really as the 360 and PS3 have so much potential for a truely fantastic Cricket game, if they had a decent company working on it then it could be so good with the capabilties offered by the 2 systems, but EA and Codies seem incapable of making a good game. | ||

| County Captain Member Since: Oct 2006 Location: Goa-India | That is sad to hear. I do think that overall Codies had the more professional approach, though overall their games were just as bad as EAs. Pretty sure EA, if at all, will create another ugly-duckling that PC modders will have to try and make look pretty! ![]() | ||

| PCPL Season 2: Outstanding Performer (Division 1) Member Since: Jan 2004 Location: C. Norfolk, England National Team: England Domestic Team: Norfolk, Essex | If only BLIC 2005 was as good as the build up it got from Codies. The days of Rubbergenius and his facts of the day were bliss. | ||

EA is bad but it is miles better than BLIC. | ||
