Spotted this on my AOL homepage this morning. It's from an American indoor league. The goalie obviously received a straight red and the other team battered them 26-10, or something like that. This guy should take up Karate if he hasn't already. | ||

Not only for the tackle, but for the fact it was pre-meditated and he played on hurting Haaland that day. He really should have been done for Assault with police involvement for that incident, just pure stupidity. | ||

It didn't end Haaland's career. The worst in terms of damage to a player, that I can remember, was probably the very unfortunate David Busst incident. Schmeichel ended up vomiting on the pitch and he and Irwin needed councelling to overcome the incident. | ||
