James Franklin should be an all-rounder. In-fact, making him a bowler is probably the wrongest category aside from wicket keeper. He's been selected to bat and bowl a bit as opposed to as a bowler. You know for next time I guess.

Well I don't dispute your claim, I would however have thought of him as a bowler and may be able to bat a bit. His stats certainly does not match that of say Oram, so to think of him being selected to bat and bowl a bit is rather interesting to me.
Nevertheless, I appreciate the views and will keep that in mind next time.

He hasn't played International much lately. Domestically he's reinvented himself as a batsman who bowls. Did a lot of work on batting when he couldn't bowl due to injury.
