| International Captain SOTM, Aug 2009 AKA: Big K Member Since: Jan 2009 Location: Tasmania National Team: Australia Domestic Team: Queensland Bulls | OK, maybe just find someone to fill in for you like shantanu has WORLD CHAMPIONS helping him. That way as soon as you come back you're in control again, an "Assistant Coach" so to say. And you can make your final draft picks now. | ||

Just waiting for adyhorn now. biggy09 added 45 Minutes and 2 Seconds later... Also, I'm thinking about making it a 40/40 League. Just based on some simulating I've done. The batsmen seem to dominate in the 25 over match but with low runrates and not alot of wickets get taken. I could up the batting avg's like PCPL but then wickets would be less. After simming quite a few 40 over matches on all different pitches (averages based on real life) it has shown some good contests/ good run rates and plenty of wickets. What are your thoughts? Also it = more Cricket. | ||

| International Captain SOTM, Aug 2009 AKA: Big K Member Since: Jan 2009 Location: Tasmania National Team: Australia Domestic Team: Queensland Bulls | Announcement: In a press conference late this afternoon it was announced that the APL would now become a 40 over competition. Also, following the International player draft, there would be a Pre-Season KO cup hosted at the MCG with the winning team receiving 50,000 vCash and being awarded the APL Pre-Season McGrath Foundation Cup. ![]() Last edited by Biggy; 21st April 2009 at 10:51 AM.. | ||
