Who was your first cricket icon?

For me it would have to be between Sachin and Adam Gilchrist. As a young boy growing up in the 00's I idolised both their batting ability, Sachin for his sheer class and Gilly for his destructiveness, and they are also both true ambassadors of the game.

So who was your first cricket icon?

It'd have to be Allan Border who was Captain when I was growing up but I loved Dean Jones cuz he was a real swagger for hit time.

Adam Gilchrist, he's been my favourite player since I could walk. Also Ricky Ponting.
