So RahulDravidfan takes the time to write up a decent article (weather you agree with it's content is a different story) and is mocked for it. Had the starter of this thread posted in RDF's thread and had just changed the name I could see it as humor, but this seems to be nothing more then trying to embarrass him by starting up a whole new thread.

Way to discourage people from trying to make this forum a better place to talk about cricket.

Some good points here: there should be a careful balance between people having the right to some fun and the need for people willing to right serious articles about cricket. As someone who likes a bit of fun just like anyone it easy to cross a line that becomes personal, both ways.

Oh dear, if this is creating too much of a problem just delete this thread, I won't have any problem with it. It wasn't created to mock RDF, or anyone in particular, I just thought it would be a decent laugh - I honestly don't see how this could offend anyone..

If Sachin Tendulkar fans are getting offended by this, they honestly need to pull their heads out of their asses and just see this for what it is, a funny spin-off of RDF's article.

If RDF feels the need not to write anymore because of one half-assed stupid spinoff, then there must be something seriously wrong with him. I could've done this to anyone, it's just that there is so much feedback about Sachin Tendulkar here every time he scores a century or something, so I thought I would make something about Nick Kruger, as a joke, seeing as he is a relative unknown.

I hope RDF is not offended by this, I see no reason for him to be offended by it - if somebody did this to an article I wrote up I would probably laugh along. Some people just need to lighten up. I honestly can't see how this would discourage other people posting in the cricket discussion forum?

I actually see the spin-off as an appreciation-in-disguise of my article. Imitation is one of the best form of flattery. I enjoyed reading the satire but the only thing I'm saying here is ASK BEFORE YOU USE CONTENT. Thats all. If you would've asked, I would have granted your the permission to use it
