| Staff Member AKA: Kshitiz Member Since: Apr 2006 Location: New Delhi, India National Team: India Domestic Team: Never Saw Domestic Cricket | Cricket 07 Mod Manager- The CMF Mods Installer! Now released! Version 1.1 ![]() Yeah, finally its now released! After a lot of hardships throughout its journey, its now released! The Mod Manager will help you install / uninstall mods with the click of a button. The way it works is this. The mod makers will release mods in .cmf format, which will have all the files of the mod built in, including the configuration. The user will just have to open these .cmf files in the program and press the install button, and then VROOM! ![]() I've also made a mod maker tool for the mod makers to easily make .cmf files required for the installation of the mods. ![]() Read the readme for it here As you can read it in the readme, you need both .NET framework AND J# runtimes, the links for both of which are given in the readme file. ![]() As you can also see, Version 1.1 has also now been released, which means now you can install mods by just double clicking on the .cmf file! ![]() If you encounter any problems or find any bugs, please feel free to ask in this thread. All suggestions / comments are also welcome. ![]() Enjoy using the tool! And yes, here is the main screen screenshot! ![]() Enjoy people! | ICC Board Member AKA: Chennai Express Member Since: Nov 2007 National Team: ...India Domestic Team: Chennai Super Kings | Leave the release till a while because you do not want any complaints. People will be expected to release their patches normally and in the .cmf format (cricket 07 mod file after the final version of this gets running. What I will be doing is releasing a normal "Copy to root directory" type of thing for the patch, and another file which you can just go add mod file in the editor. ![]() Hopefully you Guys Will Follow, I'm sure if some of the members with some good reputation followed, it will catch on easily. I have tried the BETA and it is brilliant, with the use of ingenious thinking, it is noob proof ![]() | ||
