EA Sports have confirmed there will be no Cricket 09 on the Wii. Some had speculated that a multi format listing on the Australian game classifications website meant that a Wii version was likely.

However EA have released the following statement:

“We can confirm there is no EA SPORTS game in development for Cricket on the Wii. We have no further announcements to make at this time.”

They would not comment on the possibility of the game not releasing on other consoles. Discuss this story here.

I don't think so. If EA can give games like FIFA they can give a better game of cricket too. The thing is that they concentrate more on the games, which brings them business as said my Peter Moore himself.
