| Administrator  Member Since: Jan 2006 Location: Geelong, Australia   | The Downloads Centre I'm currently working on refreshing all the various game portals, I'm currently working on the Ashes Cricket 09 one, but because there are only a couple of patches for that, it is a fairly simple job to fill the downloads section. However for Cricket 07, there are thousands of downloads available, so I want everyone's input on what should make up the downloads centre. I'm aware of the existence of the 'essential download guide' but this has become nothing more than a list of popular download threads categorised. For this, I'm going to list below a set of categories of downloads, and things that should go in those categories. Your job would be to nominate up to three specific downloads for as many of these categories as possible, you can only nominate one of your own downloads for each category, and it must not be your only nomination (ie if you nominate your own downloads for something, you have to nominate someone else's download for that same thing. Otherwise just wait and hope someone else nominates your patch, if it is good enough you should be right). It isn't a hard limit, but where there are lots and lots of downloads I'll either take the ones with the most votes, or just get Cricket 07 out again myself and test them all and pick the top ones. I'd very strongly prefer a 'permalink' to the post with the download, and remember this is about the specific downloads not the threads as a whole. Cricket 07 Forum - Cricket 07 OLD Downloads Forum at PlanetCricket.net shouldn't be forgotten (though I really need to up the work on moving all the threads back). Feel free to suggest categories I've missed, though for legal reasons music patches will not be added. Leaning towards packs of things, there isn't really the space to add a face individually for each member of each team. Bats Batpacks: Faces Overall Facepacks: Individual Team Facepacks: Rosters Name fixing: Updated teams: 'Megapatches' Anything that combines the above three things (at least): Kits Teams (assume that below is a list of all countries): Domestic Kitpacks: International Kitpacks: Custom Teams Kitpacks: AI Patches Menus Logos Overlays Pitch Ads (prefer not having individual ones, but for the top brands associated with cricket that is fine) Adboards Stumps ---------------------- No need to rush, it is probably a month at least away from being fully implemented. Also, no need to add in all your suggestions at once. | ||
