Transition of old download threads

To make it easier, I will be moving all the downloads from the download threads in the old forum to threads here. I will merge them with your current thread if you have made a new one, please update the index links to point to the new posts.

For people who had multiple threads in the old forum, they will all be put in to one, it is up to you to make it readable. You have the ability to delete your own posts if you need to.

I will be moving just the posts I see with attachments in them or clear download links. Once I have shifted your thread across, check it against your existing one(s) in the old downloads forum and let me know/repost ones that have been missed.

Now is a good time to check if you have dead links to offsite upload services. I personally recommend users to use http://www.gazup.com/ if you aren't using the attachment system (which is preferred). That site provides automated mirrors to multiple hosts and gives you notifications when your downloads need to be reuploaded.

Be patient while your threads are moved across. Thanks.

As long as you aren't linking to downloads in it and are fine with no one being able to access it.

Edit: After seeing your thread as one that had its index moved for you, I don't see why you'd unmove it, because it is all going to end up there anyway, as I will be moving all downloads to the new forum, unless you have a good reason to delete them.

I am linking downloads in it. Ah well I guess it'd have to be moved.

Then what's the problem? I'll just be moving all the posts containing the downloads to your download thread, without all the comments.

It's just that I want to have a fresh, new thread. The old one was filled with garbage like fights, off-topic posts and such.

I see my new thread here being renamed. Is that a part of transitioning ? If not then I would like to rename back to original one.

The downloads are the only things coming across, the offtopic stuff is going to stay in a forum that will be deleted.

There are thread naming requirements to keep it simple, read Aussie1st's thread in this forum.

If you have all your downloading post from your old thread to new one then possibly the old thread would be deleted.

Edit-It is deleted mate because you said to moderator for closing your thread and now other thread which were open are in new download forum i have checked old download forum for your need you can also check.Cricket07 old download forum.

Hey, my first Posts of both the Threads are not seen. Can You help me mates/Mods..

They contain all the download links..
if you could provide them, I'd rock the people for sure.

And even all attachments are gone except Images.
Can any Mod help me??
