how accurate is that release date barmyarmy? i go on holiday on the 18th and would be great to buy it and take it away with me.

have you had confirmation from codies or is that just from sales websites?

The release date wasn't in the information I recieved from Codemasters - that date comes from other gaming websites.
I will e-mail Codies for confirmation.

as per usual they are quite quiet about releases, play.com seems to say 31st of this month, along with alot of titles that keep moving back, thats why this early date surprised me, not that i will complain if it comes out on fri that is! look forward to hearing back from you barmy

the graphics are simply not up to PSP standard, if you look at Prince of Persia or GTA on PSP the graphics are almost better than PS2 graphics. The Graphics on what i've seen so far look juat enough for PS1, you may call be fussy, but i really do not enjoy games....

I've had an e-mail back from Codemasters regarding the release date.
No official date yet but they're hoping to have it out by August 31st. Sorry for misleading post initially.

I have preordered my copy of it at Play.com
Know that graphic is not the best, but ever since I got my hands on PSP (almost 2 years ago?) I was so much hoping for a cricket game, but I was so sure no one was going to make it. Always fun to play cricket games when you are on toilet, in the bus, in the classroom, etc. =P

One the toilet: fair enough.
On the bus: Fine, until you get off, mugged, never see your PSP again and end up in a wheelchair for the rest of your life.
In the classroom: Fine for a few short seconds until it is confiscated, I am expelled and I never see my PSP again.

Maybe I was a bit extreme, but I would certainly get a suspension and/or a month's detention.
