hey I noticed something funny I hit a straight drive, then both the bowler and mid off incidentally reached the ball at the same time, and they just started goin in circles round the ball, no one picked up the ball, didnt have fraps so couldnt record it though, but anyways it was fun to watch

Don't know, but probably because Aus lost fewer wickets ? Perhaps there's such a clause ?

Anyways, I've stopped playing BLIC because -- ( don't know if they all qualify as bugs -- )
1. the camera gives me a headache. I really cannot tell what shot I've played or where the balls going in most of the game
2. The batsmen have super wrists. Just a slight flick and it goes for a six.
3. When CPU bats, it hits all balls towards the leg side, even those from off side. and some of them fly over fine leg for a six. like almost straight back past the wicketkeeper for a six.

Ridiculous.

C2K5 is no better. I think BOTH games are a disappointment and suck compared to C2K4. Among the 2 new games, C2K5 is somewhat better.

if u dont like the game go to hell and leave this forum ...bcoz if u r not playing the game no need for u to still saying crap in the forum..bcoz we all want some positive ppl here who gives good opinions.thanks

What a ridiculous thing to say. This forum is not just for BLIC likers. This is a free and open forum. Its ok for you to not like my opinion ( which I might add I've cared to reason behind, unlike your troll rant ), but to use language like "go to hell" is uncalled for. I will continue to post my opinion freely here and you won't be able to stop it. So there.

Cricket is a gentlemans game and you obviously are not. Forget the game, Cricket sport is not for you.

I don't know if any one else posted this, but I saw numerous bugs. The main one I can remember is when the ball was hit into the outfield and the 2 fielders ran after it. I thought the ball would be collected but instead they kept running around in circles around the ball. The review of Blic was right. At least from the demo. The DEMO SUCKS! BLIC SUCKS!
[I can hear the pro codies guys flaming my post now. Stop being pro codies, be neutral. I have been neutral so far. And from playing both demos, EA Cricket 2005 wins easily.

I forgot to take a screen shot but I think you can call it a bug. I was bowled by Hogg and the stump went cartwheeling as if I was bowled by a Shoaib Aktar delivery.

One more bug:: right from Brian Lara '99....
The shot was hit to long-off..I just ran two runs..the ball was thrown at the keepers end(it was a close call) and then i saw the non-striker running to the opposite end..i.e both the striker and non-striker running to the same end!!
I still remember the existence of this bug in Brian Lara 99,does anybody else does ??

I wont mention the bugs already being mentioned or atleast I'll try to.

1) When the bowler is reaching towords the ball from a perpendicular direction (or nearly perpendicular), instead of making an effort to stop the ball, it chooses to let the ball run and then run after it to pick it up.

2) Can anybody tell me where the hell is the FIELDING METER. I cant see it, so the fielders keep dropping the catch.

3) Havent ever noticed Bret Lee bowl around 45 MPH :S

4) If Damien Martyn could hit a six to a slower ball bowled by a spinner on the leg side by just flicking it, I bet Symonds can easily clear two stadiums.

5) Replays of 4s, 6s etc have the same cinnematics i.e unlike EA series, you'll have to see the replay with the same camera angle. I hope they have different camera angles in the fukk game.

6) Keeper taking the bails of unneccesorily happens in BLIC as well but only this time it looks stupid as the keeper doesn't appeal for it but the decissions sometimes goto the Third Umpire.

I'll inform you of other NEW bugs when I play again.

P.S : People who used to talk about how big the EA bug thread is and all that should visit this thread once in a while for a little entertainment.

Don't be ridiculous. This forum welcomes opinions and comments from everyone not just people who are being positive. If this was true with C2k4 we'd have had to ban half the members!

omg Cricket 2005 is slow as hell....atleast BLIC2005 is fast paced and has better gameplay.

After playing the game for a couple of days, I have to say that I love the bowling and fielding aspects of the game. It takes a couple of days to get used to - but it certainly works well. The couple of gameplay issues I see are :

Batting just seems too fast paced and you are able to hit sixes very easily. - I hope the Test difficulty level is harder to time.

When I put all my fielders on the boundary, the CPU then tries to play most of its shots down the ground, which is great. It changed its approach based on the field - but the bad thing is that when the CPU plays an attacking shot down the ground and it goes to the fielder on the boundary straight, it is unable to take even a single !!

try changing the field, place a fielder on the leg side, and you'll see that the batsmen will change their tactics.I think the AI is pretty good.

played the demo a bit ... some annoying bugs / problems (sorry if they've been posted before) :

- They don't give a wide unless it goes off the track!!
- Fielders running around the ball in pointless fashion
- It all seems a bit too quick ...
- No separate controls for front or back foot shots (i liked that feature in EAs game)

think that's all I've noticed so far ... am seriously considering cancelling my pre-order on Play.com!!

Thats true. Put a fielder on the fine leg boundary and the CPU will stop hitting some of those ridiculous shots.
