I am suspecting that sooner or later we will find all the cheap ways to get batsmen out for less than 100. And because of no autoplay you will be stuck at bowling purposefully bad despite knowing very well the way to get the batsman out. That will be so annoying! At least the autoplay in cricket 2004 and cricket 2005 will save you from the trouble to purposefully bowl bad.
Bloody hell! Will you drop the autoplay thing already! Plus I havn't personally come across a easy way of getting batsmen out.

Well I think that although the Hawkeye system seems to be very nice and accurate, it has limited the chances of getting lbws !!! I got hit in line many a times but the ball height saved me !!!

Its same case with real cricket too.
The umpires seems pretty acurate with their decisions in BLIC, but after all it won't be much fun when there r no bad decisions involved....

My player was given NT, when it was actually out. This doesn't happen quite often, but when it does, its pretty fun to watch.

- Hit 2 sixes and then a 4 in an over, and then the commentator would say: That's the second six off the over. (Again happened to me on couple of occasions)

- You can go into back foot and hit a straight six....and that's on fast bowler. I don't think that's a bug, but its pretty stupid to get on the backfoot on a short pitch delivery and then hit it straight out of the park for six.

- There seems to be more runs scored by the CPU on the Fine Leg and Third man positions. Just keep the ball out side of off stumps, leg stump, or even middle, and boom the CPU will hit for either Fine Leg or Third man position. It's pretty stupid 'cause the ball is not really there at the spot to be bashed over to Fine or Third man position. I don't think its a bug, but it gets really really annoying.
Mate if U expect perfect commentary then I am sorry there isnt one sports game for ya so far; agree with the backfoot six, but then again all cricket games have this shot, dont ask me why ? regarding aggressive play I wud say its very attacking batting - Lara Style, just try to bowl slightly outside off stump and small swings
Another idea maybe in future games we can use the analogure stick to swing which wud make it harder to bowl

Both the games have bugs
Both the games have + and - (gfx/gameplay/options/commentary.....)

The game cant be perfect though because its a comp game. They will try it out but still there will be bug. Anderew the EA person had told that they started removing bugs (Cricket 2004) first soon after its release and then they started developing Cricket 2005. Still there are few same old bugs.

Has anybody noticed how all the fielders are on the boundary???????? this is not allowed in cricket as atleast 4 fielders have to be inside the 30 yard circle..

Field restrictions are OFF in the demo, they can be switched on in the full version.

Agreed. I think the bowling in this game is very difficult. I am yet to take more than 4 wickets! And even that was lucky.

I just found a major bug in BLIC, which is rather somthing i haven't seen in any of the cricket games.

I was playing Eng vs Aus, I played a shot (eng) and the CPU (Aus) was giving it a chase, nothing too usual abt it. But once the fielder reached the ball, he started circleing the ball....round and round and round. But this doesn't stop right there, 1 more fielder who was also chasing the ball, started running round and round the ball, just like the first fielder did.

Ok so both were circling the ball for abt 3-4 mins. I wanted to record this, but for some reason the recording software didn't record the right screen.

It was so funny, I haven't seen anything like this before. The game resumed after few mins.

When the fielders were circling the ball, I thought i had to re-start the game or somethin, but thankfully everything went to normal.

pretty strange uh?

I've played a sweep shot, it all depends on the timing.

I got that bowler chasing the ball bug. There are also a few bugs in commentatory(saying wrong things at the wrong time). It can always be switched off. One thing that annos me is that one of the umpires faces are blue? I'll see if I can get a screen...
