| Staff Member AKA: Kshitiz Member Since: Apr 2006 Location: New Delhi, India National Team: India Domestic Team: Never Saw Domestic Cricket | I just have to LOL hard. Before the announcement of the game everyone was shouting like "I want nothing but gameplay, seriously, if they can get good gameplay and even if it remains same as BLIC, I'm gonna buy it". "Gameplay is the only thing that matters, if they got gameplay, they got the money". And look at now. People are whining at merely everything they see in videos. Whining about a pink ball? Whining about animations? Alright, I know a game is a complete package and animations are necessary, but atleast stick to your own word guys! The animations aren't even that bad they they'd be stick like. | ||

| International Coach AKA: Tom Member Since: Dec 2003 Location: Bristol, England | It's true that the animations are part of the gameplay. If you have shoddy animations (not saying that these are) then you won't get a proper 'feel' to the game with respects to shot timing, etc. The reason PES was ahead of FIFA for so long was the sheer number of animations available. This meant that players would realistically trap an incoming ball depending on their orientation, etc., and would pass realistically depending on how fast they are running, where the ball is in relation to them, etc., so you would get a good feel as they players behaved more like real people than the FIFA games. The animations are the way in which you visually interact with the game, so complaining about poor animations is not making a u-turn with regards to making gameplay the focus. | ||
