No, i`d rather have Lee,Johnson,Clark and Siddle. We can use part-timers( Clarke, North, Katich) for that lil bit of spin.

No, IMO.

You pick your best 4 bowlers, if they are quicks, then so be it.

Although I do like Sifters idea.

As long as the team performs I'm pretty happy.

His going to be playing in the first test now isn't he, if he does well he might be able to hold his posistion down.

Yeah, he bowled OK. Nothing to crow home about but..

Should get selection in the Second Test.

Like I said, he's not a bad bowler, and he gets the job done. It will depend on the pitch I think as to whether he gets the nod or not.

He's a better bowler than we all thought here in England. He's out-bowled both England spinners in this test and fair play to him after being ridiculed by everyone here.

^ spot on, I would be surprised if he is dropped for Lords. Since Lee is not fit, I do not see Aus making any changes tbh. Siddle bowled well but was over used. Hilfy was the most threatening and we all know what Mitch is capable of. I dont see Oz tinkering with this combination that would surely have won if they had 5-10 more overs left.

i dont think there should be any changes to the second test for australia. in the third, they'll put Lee back in the side most probably and take probably Hauritz out.

I would bring Clark in for Hauritz if the Lords pitch looks flat. Use the slope to his advantage.

Hopefully it won't be, certainly didn't look flat when we played the Windies there early in the summer. That could be more down to the West Indies not having any passion though tbh. The pitch did do abit though.

Was good to see him get turn, will be handy for our next trip to India if we don't have a spinner. He'll probably get a go at Lords which will be his big test.

Assuming Lee is fit for the 3rd test and Oz wins at Lord's it will be difficult to justify his inclusion. You guys nearly won by an innings in the first and if you win at Lords why change the team. I know I am getting a bit ahead of my self but I definitely do not see Aus changing their line up for Lords.

All will depend on how Hauritz goes in the 2nd Test and what the 3rd Test pitch is like. Lee's tour match form is hard to ignore but probably will be a risk picking him not knowing how he will hold up or perform.
