What time will it start in Aus? I'm guessing around 8.

Hopefully Mitchell Johnson or Jimmy Anderson will bowl a Harmy first ball (presuming the open).

Well, it's the traditional 11am start here, so work it out in Aus time.

I've already tried, therefore 'guessing 8'.

Will BBC show highlights in the evening on each day, like previous Ashes? Somebody knows that? I checked it myself, but I didn't see in the guide, but maybe that TV guide isn't up-to-date.

Its time to load up the coffee machine for some late nights. ASHES IS HERE BAAABBYYY!!

Interesting to see if the poms throw in Harmy since he has the wood over Hughes and Ponting. Would also like to see some odds for another first ball HARMY BALL!

I think whichever team bowls first should bowl a Harmison first ball on purpose just to ease the tensions

Well at least this time round I don't have Uni to go to! Probably have to skip some post tea session unless a result is pending. And hopefully Hughes is making big 100s, love watching our new guys bat.

All night cricket is great!

This will be two years in a row since NZ was over there last year.

Highlights of every day's play are on Five at 7.15pm. They have the right to show highlights of all England home tests and ODIs. BBC only showed the last Ashes series because it was overseas.
