Johnson is a great bowler, but I don't think he'll take 7.

Nice. That's as important as losing McGrath after Lords considering how well Lee bowled in the Warm Up I think. Looked comfortably better than anyone else on show in the Lions game.

Lee out for the first two test matches, that is a massive blow for the Aussie's.

Hauritz would have to be playing now wouldn't he, England are now the favourites in my book.

England win, or draw.

That's pretty bad news for Australia. Anyway, England have now a bigger chance of winning the first Test match. If England wins at Cardiff, I am pretty sure they will make that as a permanent first Test fixture of the Ashes.

I wish!!!

I somehow doubt that they will overlook Trent Bridge and Old Trafford again.

I can see us losing now we're favourites what with Lee's unfortunate injury as we are England let us not forget.

I didn't even think Lee was a shoo in for a spot, now people are claiming "England go in favourites now".

Lol.

He probably wouldn't of played anyways.

7 wickets, bowling at 90mph+ consistently for the entire match in pretty warm weather, swinging it both ways, late, cut, bounce, etc. Nah, no way.

They should fly over Bollinger, took 8 in the Australia A match. Or will Ronald McDonald bring his franchise to Cardiff?

He would have played after that last tour match, he was awesome. 95mph swinging yorkers.

I think England are slight favourites now England's bowling looks quite a bit better than Australia's, especially on the back of said tour match as Clark was rather ineffective, Johnson very expensive, Hauritz awful. Siddle's pretty darn good though.

I hope not - do you think the Aussies would move the first Test from the Gabba to some small ground like Tasmania or the Belrieve Oval? It's a decision that still baffles me - money talks, sadly, with the ECB!!
