I think jkartik said a BETA would be out in Jan 2010 but I'm thinking more along the lines of June/July 2010.

I think the most important thing is, that it'll be released when it's ready and that everyone is working as hard as possible to make this happen asap.

the big catch here is we've been finishing a lot of BACK-END stuff.
things that are extremely crucial to the core gameplay.

unfortunately, we cannot exactly UPDATE you guys on that as frankly,
most of them wont understand it.

although you CAN move the player sideways and work it away to the offside..

tbh guys, if you finish the main gameplay aspect and the animations,

the pc patching community could make the kits, bats, rosters etc within a week, as there would be more than 1 person working on it.
