Cricket2002 is my favourite because the patches made by Vineet and Others made this game my favourite.

According to what I heard,Michael Vaughan's Cricket Manager is a piece of s*#^ so I'm going for Cricket 2002.I've never played International Cricket captain though.

Micheal Vaughns cricket Manager had a lot of potential but was full of bugs, and had a completely unrealsitic transfer system. I had a county team with no England players in at one point. The sequel should be better.

ICC (International Cricket Captain) is by far the greatest cricket game ever. It's a management game, so no fancy graphics, but you can really get into it. Best of all, it actually produces realistic results.

You select the team, decide who bowls, the batting order, the tatics, etc. You just don't play the actual game in thje same way as an arcade game. Management games are more common for soccer, eg. Championship Manager.

Andrew, I think the games must be classified as arcade and strategy.

I like both Cricket2002 and ICC. Cricket2002 because you play the game and ICC because it is reality. As a captain you decide what to do but it is in the hands of the players ( here, computer ) how it is done.

In arcade games like cricket2002, we actually play the game. You choose the shot, you time it and stuff. In strategy games, you just tell the nowler where to bowl , say good length, short, etc, but the bowler can bowl it anywhere. It depends on how much he has settled, his stamina, and current form.ie. if he is outta form and you want him to bowl good length on the off stump, he would send one short and wide of off and the other full on the legs.

These games are much real.
