Hit the nail right on the head. Rooney did jacks*** apart from give England a psychological boost. Not to say I blame him though. I feel sorry for the poor lad - he broke his foot and was consequently rushed straight back into the World Cup. He wasn't on his best form.

I think theres a lot of lessons to be learnt from this WC, like not feeling happy when we get a easy group. Harder groups would have soon put england into their place.

Well he's a very talented footballer, who was only just fit in time for the world cup, and had absolutely no support upfront, thanks to Sven's stupid squad picks.

He also has a bad temper that sees him get sent off every now and then.

Unfortunately sometimes his temper makes him a better player.

1 bad tournament doesn't make him a bad player, or if you think so then add Ronnie to it he was poor.
