Australia has just taken out the Aus-Bitters trophy, winning the series 2-1 controlling most of each game, apart from the second where some major luck got the bitters over the line. It comes as a serious wake up call for the bitters who have lacked one day form ever since the competition started.

23rd July
Melbourne Bitters have been knocked out by the reigning One Day and 05 Pre Season champions the PC Rockers. In a highly anticipated match it ended up the Rockers cleaning up the Bitters by a solid 5 wickets. The Melbourne Bitters finished 2nd in their division and were at even odds to carry through the finals but sadly all from the bitters camp were dissapointed.

21st August
The IBB (International Bitters Board) have announced that instead of having all the votes after each individual game, they will host a formal event at the end of the year where all votes will be announced.

Rabbitoh Rob Medal

This is the medal for the most outstanding performer throughout the first class season, I havent told Rabbitoh about his name being used for the medal, but since he was our first first class final man of the match i thought it would be fitting. Each game will have a 3-2-1 of votes which will be posted here after every match.

This is medal for the most outstanding performer throughout the one day season. I havent thought of who it should be named after, hopefully some of the team can give me some suggestions. Similar to the RR Medal, it will be done on a 3-2-1 performance based rating after every game which will be posted here.

Since rickyp is a busy man, and I am on for the few moments I have during holidays, I would like to welcome our new teammates to the bitters! A quick note from all of us, make sure you guys are able to post on here before you put your name down, as inactive players are a waste of space and should not be at the bitters.
