| Global Moderator™ Cricsim 06/07 First Class Player of the Year Cricsim 06/07 Player of the Year  AKA: Brad Member Since: May 2003 Location: Perth National Team: Australia Domestic Team: WA | 2006 Murgatroyd Cup/Shield- Draft Topic The way the drafting will work is this: To begin, we will have 5 rounds of 1 pick each round. The order is as follows (randomly drawn by Jarryd): 1. Microsquiz Wooden Spooners (brad352) 2. The Duffaramians (duffarama) 3. The Haggis XI (Iron-Haggis) 4. Spinners United (The Spin) 5. Treva's Termites (treva) 6. Chin Music (Radaga) 7. Aussie Supersmashers (Brett_Lee) 8. Older Green CC (cricketmad09) However, the picks for every second round will be in the reverse order, to make it fair for everyone regardless of draft position. So the order will look like this 12345678 87654321 12345678 87654321 12345678 After these 5 rounds are completed there will be 5 rounds of 2 picks each round. The picks will work the same way, meaning the order will be: 87654321 12345678 87654321 12345678 87654321 After this round is completed each person will have a squad of 15 players. These players can be traded between teams (see the trading topic for details) Each person has 2 days to take their turn. If they do not meet this deadline, they forfeit that pick and use it at their next turn. With your first round pick please also choose a home ground, which will determine the conditions in which your team plays their home games. Please also post what country your pick is from. While selecting your squad bear in mind that each player must play a minimum of 2 first class and 2 one day games over the course of the season. [EDIT]You can pick whatever types of players you want in any order. Topic will be closed until all registrations are confirmed, at which point the draft will start. Please check the squads topic and check the last few picks (as the squads topic can't always be updated instantly) to ensure your player has not been chosen beforehand, or your pick will be delayed until the next round. Please post only draft picks in this topic to make it easy for me to go through and compile squads, post anything else in the Questions and Discussion topic.
