I have a question though:My next fixture shows that I have a match on the 30th.Is there any way I can play a game before that just to get the feel of it or something? Quote:

The answer to your question: No, you can't now I'm afraid. Friendlies are on Sunday, and challenges have to be made before then obviously. Your squad looks alright as starting squads go, I've seen both worse and better. Its a bit harsh for the league you're in, but fortunately you've inherited a decent league position. It won't be a bad thing, getting demoted, because at least you'll be able to actually be able to play other people, but I reckon you might make it mate. Also, you're quite lucky, you have the bottom of the league as your first game. The best way to get the hang of Battrick to experiment with it and play it. You can also ask in the sledging threads. Make sure you join the Newbie board, as that will provide handy tips.

Click as many matches u want. Then go to Multiview u will get overly updates of each match. Hope i have not confused u more.

EDIT: Fire all ur player with primary lower than mediocre. And buy some competent players without caring about there age, stamina or secondries. They would not cost u much. Buy 2 or 3 17yos to train who have atleast primary competent. My brother did this and his team is quite good actually he have not lost a single competent match so far although he is in div VI in england.

| National Board President Member Since: Jun 2005 Location: West Yorkshire, UK | As you're a new team, there's no point in having 17 players in your squad. Especially since you said you were 80k in debt. Fire your worst 3, atleast you can save some money on the wages. Or list them on the transfer market. |

Although you should fire R.Alshaun. You've got a good, well balanced squad. Training wise, I suggest you train your 3 youngest players with 3 nets each, and then 1 stamina net for someone who needs it. If it were my squad, I would do the following: Warren Tomlinson: 1 bat, 1 bwl, 1 stamina. When stamina hits Proficient, give him a fielding. Do this only if you wish to make him a long-time fixture in your sqaud. K and V Ali, 2 primary and stamina, remove stamina as above. 1 Stamina net for Chirag Hamed. |

| ICC Board Member AKA: Sid Member Since: Jun 2005 Location: Kolkata,India National Team: India,England Domestic Team: Somerset, and Liverpool(In Football) | Training wise Im doing more or less what you've suggested there, but instead of Vasudev Ali,Im giving Roger Harte a bowling net as he's looking as if he could be a useful player for me with bat and ball. I'll try firing/selling a couple of players, hopefully that should assure me some financial stability. But Im very pleased with the improvement in my squad overall in a month, especially my buys.
