BLIC 2005 was a huge let down. Graphics were awful and Gameplay was absolutely nothing like cricket. Hopefully the game will be similar to BLC 99 and have full licenses. And I wouldn't mind them not using Starforce protection so we can edit the exe .

BLIC 2005 was not at all a let down imo. Just that the gamers were expecting a bit too much from them. It was certainly a very brave step forward to make a not so commercial game like cricket and putting some pressure on EA aswell to improve their work. Hoping the next game will remove all the existing flaws.....

CODIES do for world cups and champions trophies. EA do for the rest. But who has asian faces in normal matches because in both games they are unrecognisable

Something I like the idea of is a 'percentage' difficulty bar which has only really been seen in racing games so far (TRD 1, 2(?) and 3). It would mean it could be possible to find a level where everyone is happy. Quote:

I wish: 1. They can employ Brian Lara and Ricky Ponting themselves to do the shot motioning. 2. They can employ proper (1st team club level) players to do the bowling actions and catches too. 3. Seperate face files for every player so face making would b simpler than Cricket 2005. 4. The game could feel less rushed in gameplay...it all finishes too fast Quote:
Fielding bar speed Bowling speed (not the numbers, actual speed) Batting difficulty Bowling difficulty AND OTHERS WHICH I CANT THINK OF

Hopefully this will be a truly NEW game from BLIC 2005. I mean, I hope it isn't an EA Sports World Cup 2006 as compared to FIFA 2006. Looking forward to it!

I noticed that in the adverts it says that the game will be released on PS2, so maybe an earlier release date than we thought? Afterall, PS3 is being released this Xmas and there is no mention of it in the adverts....Just a thought! |
