Ive edited the poll now so that members can vote.I personally think it will be Micheal Owen but it depends on how far England can progress.A Henry or a Ronaldo may be other choices.

Ronaldinho hes that good! Ronaldo is past his best, Owen has been overtaken by Rooney, Zidane also past it. Henry is the other one I feel that could get the golden boot.

We could also have someone unexpected to win the award.I dont think anyone expected Suker for eg to get it in 2002.Some of the dark horses might be Luca Toni of Italy or Pauleta from Portugal.

Any chances of Peter Crouch winning it?

It all depends on how many thrashing we get and if anyone manages a hatrick. One of the Brazil forwards would be a good pick. Ballack at home could go alright too.

I would of picked Rooney if he was fully fit.

But, Henry is just pure magic, i think he may get a bag! Ronaldo second

Pauleta's gota a good chance as well, had a great season with PSG, regarding Crouch, nah , I doubt whether he'll play if Rooney is back 100%, Other contender would be Adriano, poor season with Inter, but he may come back to form.

May have said Owen, however he doesn't seem to start to score until after the group stages of major tournaments, so i will go for Henry.

Henry is definitely one of the favourites. In others, Milan Baros could be one.

As my favourite player is Henry i can't go past his pure 'magic'. Hopefully he'll have a great campaign put on a big performance for the world.
