| Staff Member AKA: Phil Member Since: Mar 2006 Location: Manchester National Team: England Domestic Team: Lancashire + Man United | Full Attacking Been playing the demo with an English team, England or Sri Lanka and I'm getting MT cricket coach next week. Just played as Lancs and decided it would be fun to do every ball at full attacking, it was a first class game against Warwickshire. Got 608 and Sutcliffe got 252, well even Jimmy anderson got 40 odd not out. Anyone with the full game think that going attacking is quite good. I have heard people say one-dayers are difficult batting first, but on that demo with Lancs I keep making around 250-320 and then bringing Keedy and part-time spinners on to get the required run rate up to about 11. Then the game is mine. What do you think? |

| Chairman of Selectors AKA: Jeremy Member Since: Aug 2005 Location: Uk National Team: England Domestic Team: Middlesex | I've found with every version that the aggressions make little to no difference and that starting on full aggression the whole time seems to bring large scores most of the time albeit not at particularly high run rates. One of the things that continues to put me off buying it. |

| ICC Board Member AKA: Simon Member Since: Dec 2005 Location: England National Team: England Domestic Team: Hampshire | I Believe at times full attacking is good, especially if the two batsmen arearound 4 bars up in the agression thing, but im playing as South Africa and i find that if i put the two openers G.Smith H.Gibbs to full aggresion they dont make it past 4 or 5 balls, i find that waitin till about the tenth over to start smacking is a brillliant fomula, and it has resulted in an over 320 runs in ODI

What I believe is happening is when you bat at the maximum aggression most players tend to swing and miss a lot, and thus you end up with plenty of dot balls. From watching the 2D view on maximum aggression the batsmen do swing and attempt to slog, but they miss a little too often. This will be looked at over the summer, we'll try to tweak it a little. |

| International Captain Member Since: Oct 2004 Location: usa near washington dc baltimore maryland National Team: pakistan Domestic Team: ravens | yeh this happend with me alot of times that i get good start 7 an over then it changes to 5 an over and i lose the game and i see that yur oppening bowlers get smacked most of the time, like 8/59/3wkts they get wkts but get smacked so at the end good teams endup 245+ for 8 or 9 or allout. some teams have good talenders so they endup 245+ |
