Lets see how Pakistan and Co. do on England pitches, England must be high after home Ashes win and current Sri Lanka tour, they want their revenge too after they lost both ODI and test in Pakistan.

Pakistan never seem to have a settled opening pair. Btw,What combination is most likely to be used by them for this tour?

Malik and Butt would be my guess.

Don't expect alot from Shoaib when playing in English County last season he didn't set it alight.

But then he would hardly have been putting in 100% as he seems to be recently for Pakistan. In fact it was hit and miss as to whether he put in 100% for Pakistan during that time, let alone a county team.

When he's bowling well, and steaming in, it doesn't matter what the conditions are he will always be a threat.

I seriously hope they play Butt. I have always had a feeling that if the ball swings or seams early on the England attack will pick him up early every time.

I also believe that Farhat will open. But Butt should be given chances too, but I don't know who to drop. Also Sami has been in form lately, so he has been included in the provisional squad.

From an English point of view, I hope Inzamam is injured for the whole Test and ODI series in England, given the fact that he absolutley murdered us right through the series in the winter. I think he ended up averaging over 100 in the test matches!

i would play butt insted of farhat because farha can not play top quality bowing of england at the other hand salman butt is more talented than farhat and hes proved it against aus series which was held in aus
