Ive gone with a pretty similar squad to my last game, hoping that the likes of Amla and Prince wont deliver in succesive games.I also heard that Pollock might be back,so I took a gamble by including him. Thanks for starting the game.

That was deliberate to see if someone notices it.

I didn't even realise Pollock didn't play in the second Test match.

I wonder how this pitch is like. Bowler or a batsman's pitch?

i have read it is a result wicket. It will be interesting to see NZ's decision on openers, i have a strong suspicion How might get a bat, but with steyn and ntini bowling any NZ opener will be working hard for runs.

i had pollock in the last game too Zexy, his form hasnt been great lately, so i will leave him out.

i keep expecting Smith to make runs off our average bowling attack but he keeps failing against us.

I still can't get a read on the pitch at Jo'berg. I'm guessing it will be similar to when Aus played there and Ntini ripped them apart.

I guess you mean this match: http://usa.cricinfo.com/db/ARCHIVE/2...04APR2006.html

But 19 days earlier this happened at the same stadium : http://usa.cricinfo.com/db/ARCHIVE/2...12MAR2006.html

So the pitch is pretty unpredictable.

he's given time..till the morning of the test. I will fancy my chances this time, but have to be more careful with the batting line-up.

Dam just saw Fulton isn't playing. Lots of people have a similar side to me so Ntini will have to do something special.

Papps, How and Styris all gone on a duck! Great stuff from South Africa. I was doubting about four spots. Pollock or Steyn, Astle or Styris, Dippenaar or Prince/de Villiers and Boucher or McCullum. So far the first two spots didn't work out for me.

I didn't know Mills would play, otherwhile I would have chosen him. Fulton was out cause of an injury.

Mills in for Patel
