Welcome to the thread for the Quater finals and the knockout stages of the Shield. We have lost 4 teams of our original 12 and are now left with the following 8 (Team which finished 1st is listed 1st):

Group 1: Aura & Antigua All-Stars
Group 2: TT Lions & Pakistani Pingers
Group 3: shane28688 & Borncricketers XI
Group 4: Casino 36 & Old Wulfs

The draw will be made so a team finishing 1st will play a team finishing 2nd. I will update this thread every 5 minutes from now with a team. Home team listed 1st

The following are Semi Final ties:
Antigua All-Stars v Pakistani Pingers
Old Wulfs v shane28688 or Borncricketers XI

The final will be held at the winner of the 2nd semi final (Old Wulfs v shane28688 or Borncricketers XI)

Old Wulfs - Out
Pakistani Pingers - Out
TT Lions - Out
Shane28688 - Out
Borncricketers XI - Out

TT Lions or Shane for me (assuming I can't draw Casino 36). Shane has a good squad, so heres hoping for the Lions!

Alright. Better arrange some friendlies though, cause I'm in for the long run in the cup this time!!

I originally drew a pretty tough V team called the Barmy Batters, but now I have drawn a VI bot who is easier...
League looks much simpler this year. Got one big rival I have to beat (who I just lost to in the last over!) and if I do that I should be on the way to promotion (and probably demotion again).

Same, the cup reshuffle has made life much easier for me, I can't see myself losing this round. Also, I'm really up for promotion this year, the team that got demoted into my league is rubbish and I was second last year.

Please can the remaining teams confirm before Thursday whether they are still in the cup or out. Any team who hasnt posted confirmation here by Midnight on Wednesday will drop out of the tournament. If both teams from a match dont post here then the team that should have played them will recieve a bye
