| Panel of Selectors PC Awards 2008: Funniest Member AKA: No. 1 Gimp on PC Member Since: Mar 2005 National Team: Australia Domestic Team: The Downright Donkeys | Organise fixtures It'd be an interesting little option for a game IMO, probably harder to implement than it's worth, but I reckon you should be able to organise the fixtures yourself. Include the ICC rule that everyone has to play each other at least once every 5-10 years (can't remember the number of years), and you can organise the odd series in between these. Say, if you organised heaps of series and won them, you might go up in rankings, but then you'll slowly start to have players burning out and losing a game/series that they would normally win. And if you hardly organised a series, your young players wouldn't develop as quickly and your rankings would suffer as you haven't played as many games as you could've. Also you could bring money into it, say a series between Pakistan and India would net heaps of cash for training facilities and stuff, but I'm going into a dreamland there. Just reckon it's something worth thinking about.
