Okay guys, beat this

try to beat this. Firstly, my team score and then Pontings score.

oh and it aint shown but Hussey made a lazy 123 too.

unfortunately, it is still too easy to just chuck it on full aggression and spank the **** outa sides, not just bangladesh.

atleast bangladesh are weaker in this version (1.02) but this is obviously an unrealistic score

I was bowled out nearing the end of the 4th day and then i knocked over bangladesh twice wid like 15 overs remaining on the 5th

i actually dont know lol

you'd think nearly 800 runs would be slightly more valuable than 11 wickets

Poor Lara, goes from being 1st in the all-time highest test scores to 3rd in the space of one game

Great score.

Obviously whilst this is slightly unlikely in real life, one thing to consider is that if you did ask Australia to go out and bat without declaring against Bangladesh they probably could quite easily achieve this kind of score. Just think how absolutely on top England were when Bangladesh visited last summer.

I'd also point out the recent score of 900+ in an Australian domestic tournament as justification that this can happen.

Maybe it is a little too frequent at the moment but the balance will be found with the database over time

oh, ive never been against games that may be unrealistic incomparison to real life because of the following argument

these games are a simulation of real life, they are not real life.

if the games played out exactly as real life does, you wouldn't buy it, you'd simply buy a newspaper and check the real scores

my only critisism of the game in regards to this score is that it required no skill on my behalf really (even though i'd like to think it did)

all i did was chuck aggression on full thinking (may aswell try things out as i only have a 2 day trial) and yeh let it play out.

dissapointed with symonds and jaques efforts though

it was interesting because when Hussey went out i was thinking:

okay, lets send symonds and then gilly in for a quick hit and then declare so we can have an interesting game. symonds went out for 0 off 4 and then gilly came in.....439 runs later, we were all out and still had enough time to skittle bangladesh

this really is a fun game, i love watching my players cream the ball through the fielders. I know that it will negativly impact my VCE (uni entrance score) which is a good sign for a game developer, bad sign for nagging parents.

I'll buy it as soon as a few minor issues are sorted out, issues that some ppl dont worry about because it doesnt effect the overall game and this is true but im a very observant and picky person by habit

and yeh i agree that some teams, if they tried, could top 1000 against teams like bangladesh if they really tried hard enough but after 717 runs i reckon ponting would have a severe case of repetitive stress disorder. in all areas except behind square on the offside, he scored more than a century

oh i nearly forgot

READ THIS NEXT BIT

slight bug but after ponting passed 600 (im pretty sure it was 600). after every ball that was watched on the 2d screen (4s, 6s, wickets) and after every over, the screen would popup saying "Ponting, not out 672" for example

this got really annoying as you could tell with this thing poping up once, sometimes more an over saying pontings notout score. i was thinking "thanks for telling me but i ALREADY ****ING KNOW"

this stopped when he went out thankfully but yeh, just thought i'd let you know, it started at around the 600 mark.

i can see how this could slip through in testing as such a score for a batsman may have never been reached
