Realistic Feilding position

Ok guys as you may be aware that other game made by codies and EA had defualt feilding options, but they were as bad as anything. so here goes what default field we should have in this game, mind you these are only for ODI's with power play in mind and 2 players under 15 yards. . then i wil try to do test.

first of all i will try to list as many field postion and then type of defualt fields.

Here we go:

Wicket keeper
1st slip
2nd slip
3rd slip
4th slip
5th slip

Gully
Wide gully
Behind point
front of point
cover
mid off
mid on
mid wicket
square leg
short leg
silly mid off/on
silly point
straight fileder nxt to the popping crease near other runner.
leg slip
leg gully
short extra cover
short mid wicket

Deep:

third man
deep point
deep cover
long off
long on
deep mid wicket
deep square leg
fine leg/
man at 45%
wide third man

default fields for fast bowler's: More to Come for Odi's after that test.

2 more new fields to check. i am trying al possible way of close in field with 2 outside the ring. plud 2 in 15 yards box. these are for fast bowlers only at the moment.

I don't know whether this is discussed before or not but just want to say that, in an attempt to have more reallistic and dynamic field positions, we have to make sure that CPU doesn't put a deep mid wicket fielder to Mcgrath after been hit for 4 through that region in the 3rd over of a test match. (like cricket 2004)

LM can you make sure the slips against spinners are close enough, on BLIC they are way way back.

LM if you dont think its to much maybe you could use some of the Cricket 05 and RPIC/BLIC Fielding positions and take some off us.

i have already done so L.M. they are ready for you mate all spinners in and out field are done. and fast bowlers preset fields are done as well. but still if i havemissed anything please let them come. nightprowler that is a great field mate. never thought of fly slip thanks for that.

if u have custom fields, could u add the option of "loading in" the current field, so u can easily move a fielder squarer/ straighter etc. in cricket 2k and blic its difficult to make slight adjustments to default fields

You need to make sure that it is possible to take a catch at ANY positions. Not unlike BLIC where you can't catch it in certain positions.

Also make sure catches come at various heights to make it even more realistic.
