yeh i wouldve considered Bollinger aswell

Tait will be disappointed but he may get a game in the test series.

I wonder if Amla or Steyn will play?...i recon Amla will but doubt Steyn will.

Bollinger clearly was the better bowler in ING, hes worth a shot, not expensive like Johnson and able to pick up the odd wicket or 2.

SA could well play both cause they said they would like to experiment in the dead rubber.

Would they be willing to replace Nel with Steyn? I guess Steyn adds an extra dimension to the attack with his pace and Smith could use him in short burts to steal a wicket or two, but that could go terribly wrong. But a dead rubber is no time for negativity.. On the other hand, Nel deserves selection, but may still be hampered by that ongoing injury. Amla'll probably play though, they need to make changes and it's a pretty good opportunity to allow him another chance at the top level.

yeh Bollinger was the leading fast bowler in the ING cup this year i think...and he has pretty good pace...like Johnson.
But Bollinger is still young like Johno, plenty of time to get into the team

I would like to see the speedo on Bollinger.
Oh well they picked Johnson so hopefully they actually use him for more than one game.

I read somewhere that he could swing it both ways, so swing bowler I would say. Just surpised he hasn't had more success, cause at his pace plus being a left armer you would think it would make him almost unplayable.

Mate, gun-barrell straight !
Nah, I think he tends to swing it through the air more than move it off the pitch, just off the top of my head though.

Yeah, it'd definitely seem that way, which is why he's a bit of a mystery, but as you know, there's more to a good bowler than that.

Oh actually I forgot he is so wayward hence the reason he hasn't been successful. Its all good knowing you can swing it both ways at pace but if you don't put it in the right spot then its touch the ball and watch it go to the fence.

No suprises that there are no changes to the test side.
You try telling a guy sorry mate we are gonna give you a rest even though theres a massive break coming up so we can try out some youngsters.
Alot of them are too scared to miss games when there injured because it means someone could come in and perform well and take there spot.
Plus they would still see bangladesh as a great chance to boost there averages even though they somehow lost to them in england odi.

gun barrell straight! oh dear god not another Shane Watson!!

the only excuse for us losing that ODI to Bangla last yr was the Roy Symonds incident, clearly they were all thinking about that instead of the game at hand.

anyway...forget about that game!

I don't think anybody would have minded this.

Mick Lewis left out of Bangladesh tour/Dan Cullen given one-day call up
http://content-uk.cricinfo.com/bdesh...ry/242672.html

Cullen won an award, so he must be a good bowler.

And I thought Australia would rest some players. But this is a full strenght squad. But the good thing is that the people in Bangladesh can see the great Australian players.
