addition of new rules in modern cricket

Maybe these factors can be added:
Rain affected matches should follow D/L method.
New addition of power plays.
One bouncer per over.
Inclusion of Hawkeye technology.
3rd umpire for catches.

Yes, I agree. I think we shouldn't create threads for invidual ideas from now on.
I'm leaving this thread open so the topic can be discussed however.

But these ideas are for any cricket game in general.More so i had made this remark keeping in mind future editions of icc if at all they are published.
However they are applicable to all cricket games.

Maybe it's been introduces in later versions but the cricket games I have you don't get the run for a no ball if you score off that ball. Midn you it's Cricket 96 and Cricket 97 Ashes Tour Edition that I have

I'm against Hawekye technology for some reason. Most of the time it only creates doubt. There's no way it can predict correctly where the ball is heading.

Yeah Brian Lara uses it poorly because it starts the line of offstump in the middle off off instead of the absolute edge AND it predicts movement even if the ball hadnt pitched

Hawkeye is just a visual aid for fans watching the game to get an idea as to what the ball might or might not have done after it hit the pad. Nothing wrong with it in my opinion, although it does seem to have bred a fair amount of unfair criticism of umpires.
