graphics problems

for some reason pictures come out perfect on the internet and dektop and everthing even programs like paint and print artist, but for some reason since like yesturady the pictures in photoshop cs2 and photoshop elements 4 arent cuming out right, help would be appreciated and heres an example,
AND YESTUDAY I UPDATED MY INTEL GRAPHICS CONTOLLER, COULD THAT BE THE PROBLEM, BUT EVERYTHING BESIDES THOSE PROGRAMS WRK? <<srry bout caps lock

It could be a problem with the Software, not the graphics card.

Did you change any settings?

Maybe when you save it, it will be normal.

Are you using a modified pallet, it would explain different colors, there should be a setting somewhere to put it back

idk i just right click and go to open with photo... and then i think its in rgb color

okay guys i got the problem fixed i had to change the color adavanced thing to the model number of my moniter but when i open a file like go to open with photo... it opens up like the top previews then i have to copy it and pastre it into the new file with the settings is there a way to make it default so everything opnes in those.
