Question Need Info. Regarding FC

hi, well i have some doubts regrading FC.

1. While picking my team, can i choose players from both the countries?

2. While creating my team i didn't go through the screen where it asks me how many matches and whehter ODI or Test. Will my created team be valid?

3. After creating my team, will i have to bet in vBookie, coz in vBookie i will be betting against either SAF or WIN as a whole team whereas my created team has players from both the countries. Are the matches in VBookie and FC connected? I don't think so but need clarification.

Thats all i wanna know....for NOW.

1 - Yes you can pick from either country
2 - That only happens when making a game, it is already set for this game
3 - Its not connected with vBookie so you can bet on that if you wish.

Well Ste, I viewed the user guide and saw the option "Creating a game". Can members create games? Like you have created the West Indies - South Africa series now with the matches allotted. Like that, can members create their own games? Just curious!

Someone had created one and it was deleted. So I am guessing no.

They can at the moment but a new user group will be made with some helpers for the game in it. Only the helpers will be able to create games and the members will have to create their teams for them.

Well at the moment members can create games but I think this will be changed to only people with certain permissions (all those who have kindly volenteered) to help can create games. There wouldnt be much point of creating games other than all than for all the international cricket going on around the world which is what we hope to have the fantasy cricket for.

However I think another possibility could be fantasy cricket based on people Cricket 2004/2005/BLIC stories, then members could creating their own games but only if people would be interested in that.

That would get really complicated, I feel. But I guess life is about facing challenges. I feel philosophical around midnight.

Well i personally feel that games should only be crated based on the REAL cricket goin around the world. It will make FC global besides everybody can keep track of their players and all while watching the real cricket whereas there are hardly many members who regularly and constatly keep track of every series goin on in the stories thread.

**It will make FC similar to "Super Selector".(People living in asia must have heard of it and also taken part in it. I've won once in it.)

how do you know how many points you gained from a game? because my vcash has remained the same from before the game and after the game, but i had smith, sarwan, and other batsmen and bowlers who performed well in the game.

Well, my question was regarding the stories thread.. Since the story writers try to attract for attention of the members here in these forums with their stories, I thought FC would be a good idea to be implemented for the story threads. Anyways, decision at your interest.
