Are you kidding(lol!)?
Has there been a more destructive batsman (One day) ever than Sir Vivian Richards, Jayasurya and Tendulkar on a consistent basis?
In fact in terms of destruction I would put Sir Viv and Jayasurya at 1 and Sachin at 2 .That does not mean Jayasurya is better batsman than Sachin.
Sachin is a better batsman than Jayasurya by defintion of a great batsman.
But we are assessing by the definition of Master Blaster and we need to strictly stick to its meaning.
Statisticallyon Oneday basis Sanath is ahead of Sachin by SR, # of Sixes but not by # 4s
I am afraid with regards to One day Records Lara is way behind either Sachin or Sanath.
Again in tems of greatness as a batsman Lara and Sachin are about the same and ahead of Sanath . Butwe are talking of Master Blasters not the greatest batsman.
Hope this helps.

Just my opinion. Sure, there are other attacking batsman in the world obviously, but none could do it as well and still amass big runs such as Viv and Sachin. |
Officially Sachin Tendulkar and Sir Viv are considered as the Master Blasters.
Realistically Jayasurya deserves to be considered as Master Blaster as well.
Let’s take a look at Jayasurya’s One day career record.
Jayasurya: Matches : 432 ( Avg : 32.71,
SR : 91.13,100S : 28, 50S : 67,
4S; 1459, 6S: 270).
Two Official Master Blaster’s One day Career record. Sir Vivian Richards : Matches : 187 ( Avg : 47.00,
SR : 90.20,100 S : 11, 50S : 45, 4S; NA, 6S: NA).
Sachin Tendulkar : Matches : 425 ( Avg : 44.37,
SR : 85.66,100S : 43, 50S : 91,
4S: 1818,
6S: 176).
SR
Jayasurya beats Sir Vivian Richards marginally on SR and Sachin by a good margin.
Sixes
Sanath is way ahead of Sachin in the number of sixes.
Fours
Sachin is way way ahead of Jayasurya.
I do not know what else Jayasurya needs to officially get the title of the third Master Blaster.
