Match Review: A solid performance from Palace and they deserved to win. Palace were strong at the back, Butterfield, Cort and Craig all playing really well. They completed over 90% of their tackles which really shows something. Almunia picked up a clean sheet on his Palace debut which will do his confidence a world of good. Man of the match went to T. Craig who made 36/42 successful passes, 3/4 successful tackles, 9/20 successful headers, 16 intercepts and setting up the winning goal off a corner in which he was taking as Ifill had been subbed out.
