One Pointer winners

A close game, ends in a close contest. Adelaide have defeated the Eagles by 1 point at Aami Stadium this afternoon in the round 2 clash.
A cloudy day in Adelaide, saw their team get over the line, which picks up their 1st victory of the season. In front of 23 thousand fans, Scott Stevens put on a clinic of a match, as he sored and kicked 6 goals for the home team, to get them over the line. He and Jason Porplyzia kicked their share of goals for the Crows, as they nearly kicked their entire score.


A 5 goal last quarter from the Crows to come back from behind to take the win. The Eagles who lead for the whole afternoon, lost the lead with about 3 minutes to go, when the Crows snatched the victory.
The Eagles who had a massive spread of goal kickers (11) showed they are still a force to rekon with. But it wasn't enough to stop Scott Stevens and the Crows.
Stevens had a day out, as he kicked 6 and had a whopping 35 possesions. It was certainly a dominate display from the utility forward.


Hayden Sumner was very pleased with the win and this is what he had to say.

"It was a great win. Coming from behind at 3 quarter time, and win by just the barrest of margin is very exciting. We defiently need to get out of the blocks a little earlier then we did today, and that's something we're going to work on, but when we come from behind like that and kick 5 goals to 3 in the last quarter, i guess that will do
Scotty Stevens played a ripper of a game today, what did he kick? 6 Goals? And the impressive thing was, he some how picked up 35 possesions from that as well. When has someone had a more dominate game then that? I can't really think of anyone from the top of my head.
I am very pleased with the win today, and hoping to continue that form into next week.
